PetroChina Karamay Petrochemical Company is located in Karamay, Xinjiang. Relying on the naphthenic heavy oil resources of Karamay Oilfield, it is a special refining enterprise of PetroChina focusing on high-end specialty oil products. Founded in 1959, it has a primary crude oil processing capacity of 6 million tons per year with 39 main production units.
